Remarks

Protzia halberti
is a welldefined species. A combination of diagnostic characters is: the medial margins of Cx3 and Cx4 on the same level, genital flaps present as straight sclerified strips (
Fig. 1
); P2 medially with two pennate dorsodistal setae (
Fig. 3
); total length of palp
370420 in
males,
410470 in
females; caudal Ac long (length>39 µm, ratio length/width 1.31.8); chelicera robust (ratio L/H 4.14.5, rarely up to 4.9); leg claws with 59 (in most cases>6, see
Fig. 2
) medial clawlets (
