Remarks:
The Spanish material was collected at altitudes between
720 m
and
950 m
, the latter site being in a meadow. The material from
Andorra
was taken in a Malaise trap in the Santa Colomo area which lies at over
1000 m
.
Carles-Tolrá (2016)
records Spanish specimens up to an altitude of
650 m
with adults feeding on flowers of white Umbelliferae and the yellow-flowering umbelifer
Thapsia villosa
L. mainly in May, but the
Andorra
specimens were captured in June and July.
