Paratypes
:
two males and one female with same data as holotype (ICN-Ar 8209–8210).
Etymology.
The specific epithet is a patronym in honor of Dr. Jerzy Prószyński, for his many contributions to taxonomic studies on jumping spiders of the world.
Diagnosis.
Males of
H. proszynskii
sp. nov.
differ from those of the remaining species of the genus by the presence of a long and curved RTA, a long retroventral tibial apophysis (RvTA), and a developed proventral tibial apophysis (PvTA) (
Figs 12–14
). Females can be diagnosed by their epigyne with a posterior pocket with anterolateral copulatory openings (co) in an oval atrium, rounded spermathecae and longitudinal posterior digitiform glands (dg) (
Figs 15–16
).
