Val col. ( MZUSP ) Comments: The type locality of this species is Campos do Jordão, in southeastern Brazil . We now have additional material from two other localities in the Atlantic Forest. The original description and the redescriptions made by Vilela & Bächli (1990) and Grimaldi & Nguyen (1999) are thorough and well illustrated. We add here photographs of of a malein several views. There is a discussion, ahead, about the types of this species.
