This group is characterized by the vinculum ventrocaudal margin without medial process, the tegumen articulated with the vinculum, forming an X-shaped rim at joint, the uncus with broad furcate base, forming a large membraneous section with the tegumen, a digitate process arising from the base of the uncus lobe laterally, linked with apodeme by narrow membrane, the triangular valva with a lobate basal process and a large, digitate medial process on the costal margin, the short and stout juxta fused with the vinculum angularly, slightly humped in dorsal midline, the stout, complex aedeagus, and the bulbus ejaculatorius <3.0× length of the aedeagus, expanded in subdistal section in the male genitalia; and by the colliculum comprising a clubbed process with bifurcate apices arising from a flower-like apodeme, and a narrow second ring in the female genitalia. Remarks . Three new species, E. carinata sp. nov. , E. curvidorsalis sp. nov. and E. duoprojecta sp. nov. , are included in this group.
