Comments. Bernardi (1973: 247) cited this species as distributed in Peru and Chile (from Tarapacá to Talca). We consider this geographic distribution as erroneous, as for this species there is not any record northern to Huasco Province ( Region de Atacama ) in Chile , nor any other record from Peru . Biology. This species only has been observed to feed on flowers of Quillaja saponaria Molina thanks to citizen scientists’ records.
