See Ono and Hayashi (2009) for a recent redescription and diagnosis of both sexes. Distribution. China ( Fujian , Guangdong , Guizhou , Hainan , Hubei , Hunan , Inner Mongolia , Jiangsu , Jilin , Shaanxi , Shandong , Sichuan , Taiwan , Zhejiang), Korea , Japan , Russia and Thailand . Comments. The type material of Cheiracanthium escaladae , described from the female, and Clubiona qianhuayuani , described from the male only, were examined. Each of these sexes is consistent with the genitalic morphology of C. corrugata , a common and widespread species in eastern Asia with many taxonomic citations ( World Spider Catalog 2023 ). Therefore, we consider both species to be junior synonyms of C. corrugata .
