( Figures 9–12 , 40–49 ) Measurement . Male, 2.95–3.15mm (including wing). Description. Body ochraceous with whitish stripe thin on vertex; eyes brown; pronotum with a brown triangle patch centrally. Face brown with apical margin ocherous. Forewing yellowish in basal 4/5, hind wing with CuA branched. Abdominal apodeme reaching end of 3rd abdominal sternite ( Fig. 43 ). Male pygofer hook long and curved laterad posteriorly ( Figs 44, 45 ). Subgenital plate triangular with 3 macrosetae ( Fig. 46 ). Paramere long with cephalad and caudal part slim, central part with short lobe ( Fig. 49 ). Connective sclerotized with central lobe absent and lateral feet short. Aedeagus sclerotized with dorsoatrium slightly arched in lateral view; aedeagal shaft long, straight, tapering apically and sword-like in ventral view, slightly arched in lateral view ( Figs 47, 48 ). The new species is similar to Takagioma silvicola Dworakowska, 1993 in body coloration, but has the white stripe broader on the vertex and differs from all others of the genus by the slim aedeagal shaft and absence the central lobe of the connective. Etymology. The specific epithet is the Latin noun “ gladius ” (sword), which refers to the sword-like aedeagal shaft in ventral view.
