Diagnosis.
Small spiders (3.0–
5.5 mm
) with high carapace and ovoid abdomen. Male palp with large, convex tegulum bearing a postero-retrolateral lobe; small tegular apophysis, sometimes hidden under tegulum, present on the prolateral edge; embolus long and coiled, accompanied by membrane; three tibial apophyses, rarely two. Epigyne sclerotized with lateral copulatory openings and long copulatory ducts; accessory glands present, spermathecae multichambered (
Wesołowska & Russell-Smith, 2000
).
