D i a g n o s i s: Antennae testaceous; prothorax bicolorous; pronotum mostly black, partly testaceous; pterothorax testaceous; elytra base slightly testaceous, rest of elytra black, but elytra with three yellow markings; elytral apex setose; legs testaceous. D e s c r i p t i o n: Size: Length 7.0 mm; width 1.0 mm. Form: As in Fig. 58 . Head. (EW/FW 20/60). Thorax: Subapical depression well defined; pronotal and elytral discs finely punctate; (PL/PW-110/110); (EL/EW 270/75). Abdomen: Aedeagus ( Fig. 107 ). V a r i a t i o n: Length 5.0-7-0 mm; width 1.0- 1.2 mm . The pronotum may entirely testaceous. E t y m o l o g y: The species name, tucuman , constitutes a noun in apposition and refers to the type locality.
