Diagnosis.
This
species is recognized by the following characteristics: frons, face, parafacial, and gena yellow
; prescutum and scutum dark brown; postpronotum and thoracic pleura yellow; scutellum yellow with a pair of apical setae (

); legs wholly yellow; abdominal tergites wholly yellow with narrow black line on each posterior margin (
Fig. 29
).

Remarks.
Available specimens of this species are females, but as a result of my examination of specimens of
M. pallida
preserved in the Museum National d’Histoire naturelle (Paris), the characteristics agreed with those of female
M. pallida
.
