Holotype , "Transcaspia // Type // Psammochares tenebricosus Hpt. det Haupt 1928 // Berlin . Zool. Mus . // Holotypus , H. Wolf det 1974 // Arachnospila ( Pamirospila ) stjenkarasini m. , H. Wolf det 1974" [MNHU]. Diagnosis . Male is distinguished from those of other species by having apical margin of hypopygium rounded ( Figs 19 , 31). Female is unknown. Material examined . Paratype of P. hetaera : 1 ♂ , Kyrgyzstan , Akterek-Gava, Kirgh. Ferghana Mt. Ridge , Zonstein, 30.VII.1993 " [ OLBL ] . Additional material. 1 ♂ , Kyrgyzstan , Toskaul , 1200 m , 4.VIII.1964 ( K.E. Romanenko ) [ ZISP ] . Distribution . Uzbekistan , Kyrgyzstan ( Zonstein 2000 , 2002b ). Remarks . H. Wolf (1977) proposed the name stjenkarasini for the male of Psammochares tenebricosus Haupt, 1930 and placed this species in the subgenus Pamirospila Wolf of the genus Arachnospila Kincaid. S. Zonstein (2000) , who reviewed the raised Pamirospila to the generic level, omitted this species. He described three new species of Pamirospila , of which the species hetaera has a male that is the same as that of stjenkarasini . This is confirmed by the shape of the head, the hypopygium, and the genitalia ( Figs 14, 19, 20, 26 vs Figs 30–33 ). Formally, a new combination is proposed to transfer stjenkarasini from the genus Arachnospila to the genus Pamirospila .
