Remarks
. H.
Wolf (1977)
proposed the name
stjenkarasini
for the male of
Psammochares tenebricosus
Haupt, 1930
and placed this species in the subgenus
Pamirospila
Wolf
of the genus
Arachnospila
Kincaid. S.
Zonstein (2000)
, who reviewed the raised
Pamirospila
to the generic level, omitted this species. He described three new species of
Pamirospila
, of which the species
hetaera
has a male that is the same as that of
stjenkarasini
. This is confirmed by the shape of the head, the hypopygium, and the genitalia (
Figs 14, 19, 20, 26
vs
Figs 30–33
). Formally, a new combination is proposed to transfer
stjenkarasini
from the genus
Arachnospila
to the genus
Pamirospila
.
