Distribution and habitat:
—In
Guyana
(
Goldenberg

2013
). In
Brazil
it occurs in Amazonian forests (
Goldenberg & Caddah 2015
). In the reserve, it occurs on “terra firme” slopes on clay soil with low organic matter.
Comments:
—This species is not frequent in the reserve. It can be recognized by the light gray and smooth rhytidome, leaves lacking ant domatia and with stellate-stipitate trichomes, and paniculate terminal inflorescences.
