). In the reserve, it occurs in “terra firme” plateaus, on well drained, clay soil with a lot of organic matter.
Comments:—
This species is not infrequent in the reserve. It can be distinguished by the dark brown rhytidome with detaching vertical plates, cylindrical branches and leaves with arachnoid trichomes and entire or serrate-ciliate margins.
