Specimens of Williamstimpsonia denticulatus were collected by hand at low tide in nearshore rubble, under rubble rock and caught in crab traps placed on rocky bottom (~ 4m deep) on the west and south coasts of Barbados . Ovigerous females were collected in August 2019 , November 2019 , and June 2021 . Williamstimpsonia denticulatus is very abundant in Barbados in both nearshore rubble and nearshore subtidal habitats. Previously reported for Barbados as Cycloxanthops denticulatus by Rathbun (1921: 69) on specimens ( one juvenile , USNM 76271; one male , USNM 76255; one male , one female , USNM 69030; one juvenile , USNM 57994) collected by the Barbados-Antigua Expedition in 1918.
