Distribution: Argentina : Chubut and Río Negro Provinces; Chile : Arauco , Biobío , Cautín, Chiloé, Concepción, Llanquihue, Malleco, Ñuble, Osorno, Palena, Santiago, Talca, Valdivia, and Valparaiso Provinces. Note: Salgado (1992b: 175) cited that Portevin, 1914 recorded this species from “near Santiago”, but Portevin referred only to “ Chile ”; Jeannel (1936: 156) mentioned “surely from the region of Santiago”, but not referring to Portevin’s types .
