The males of H. legrasi are characterized by the presence of a well-developed RTA with a recurved and half spiral dorsal branch, a ventral branch of the RTA with a strong median carina, and a filiform and long embolus (figs 6b–c, Corronca & Rodriguez Artigas 2011 ). The epigyne of H. legrasi is distinguished by the presence of an elongated, large and sub-hexagonal middle field, copulatory openings that are in close proximity anteriorly, and the elongated lateral lobes in close proximity posteriorly (figs 6d–e, Corronca & Rodriguez Artigas 2011 ). Note. The male and the female of H. legrasi were described by Simon (1887) . Corronca and Rodriguez Artigas (2011) have shown photographs of the female habitus and female and male genitalia.
