Length.
Male 8.00 mm., female unknown.
External morphology.
Moderately large, slender species. General color dark brown to black and yellow; forewings with clavus black, yellow stripe on each side; scutellum black, basal angeles yellow; pronotum and crown yellow; eyes translucent (

); face yellow with brown longitudinal stripe on lateral margins. Head narrower than pronotum, anterior margin broadly rounded; crown broader than width of eyes, produced anteriorly about ¼ of entire length, disk flat, lateral margins nearly parallel; eyes large, semiglobular; pronotum as long as median length of crown, surface bullated; mesonotum large, nearly twice as long as pronotum; forewings long, broad, 3 anteapical cells present, outer one closed; clypeus long, broad, lateral margins broadly convex, longitudinal carina faint; clypellus about 1/3 as long as clypeus, narrow, apex expanded.
Male genitalia.

Etymology
.
The name is descriptive for the twisted stylar apophysis.
Remarks.
This species is unique with its unusual twisted style (
Fig. 88
) which will separate it from all other known species in the genus.
