Named in honour of

F.T.M. van Dijck, who was elected as the first female President (2015-2018) of the Royal Dutch Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW).

Conidiomata
pycnidial, superficial on the surface of the agar, solitary or confluent, globose to lageniform, covered by hyphal outgrowths, ostiolate, pycnidial wall pseudoparenchymatous, with 3-9 layers.
Conidiogenous cells
phialidic, hyaline, smooth, globose or ampulliform.
Conidia
hyaline, smooth- and thin-walled, aseptate, ovoid, oblong or ellipsoidal, with 2-4 polar guttules.
