Remarks . This is the first French record of mines of this species, in a locality where adults were taken previously (van Nieukerken 1990a ). The mines were rather difficult to locate, usually confined to the lowest part of the stem close to the ground. Onobrychis viciifolia is a new host in addition to O. arenaria and O. montana . At this altitude ( 650 m ) larvae probably should be searched for during late July to early August, and at higher altitudes probably a little later (August­September).
