A. cinctipes differs from other species by the combination of the following characters. Male: tibiae with 4 bands, m-cu before f-cu, R 3 apex close to C, gonostylus with 9 apical teeth; tapered megaseta, dorsal lobe club-shaped with fringe, anal point covers partially the aedeagal complex; Pupa: veins and spots wing sheath present, aeropyle tube club-shaped apex, dorsal pore in A IV positioned between D 1 and D 3 , genital sac beyond the second taeniae; Larva : expanded head and without spots, ligula teeth concave, dorsal pore present, posterior parapod with 3 brown claws, procercus yellow and with 7 anal setae. Male (n = 5, unless otherwise stated): Dimensions : Total length 3.68–3.85 mm . Wing length 1.90–2.10 mm . Total length/wing length 1.81–2.03. Wing length/length of profemur 2.45–2.59. Coloration ( Figs 4A–F , 5A ): wing with brown spots. Legs: P I —femur with 3 bands, tibia with 5 bands; P II — femur with 3 bands, tibia with 4 bands; P III —femur and tibia with 3 bands. P III —coxa with 5 central microsetae, apex of tibia 62.5–67 µm wide and with 2 apical pectinated spurs 70–73 and 50–60 µm long, spurs ratio 0.51–0.53 and 0.42–0.46; tarsomeres 1-3 with 1 or 2 pseudospurs 57–65 µm long. Cephalothorax ( Fig. 6A, B ): wing sheath 1.71–1.89 mm long and with completed veins; thoracic horn 412–555 µm long and 222–239 µm wide, with spines in basal and lateral sides; lumen with hexagonal pattern; apex of aeropyle tube club-shaped; thoracic comb with 15 conical teeth. Abdomen ( Fig. 6C, D ): tergites I–VIII with shagreen as small spines in arc; scar in A I 220–230 µm long; A IV chaetotaxy follow figure 6C; A VII with 4 lateral setae, LS 1 185–200 µm long; A VIII with 5 lateral setae, LS 1 100–108 µm long; anal lobe 400–458 µm long, base 400 µm wide; with 2 anal macrosetae, LS 1 151–162 µm long, LS 2 215– 225 µm long, inner side spinulate; genital sac 371–380 µm long; GS/AL 0.72–0.89. 4th instar larva (n = 3, unless otherwise stated) Dimensions : head capsule 945–950 µm long and 730–733 µm wide. Coloration ( Fig. 7A–D ): head capsule yellow without spots; postoccipital margin brown; ligula teeth brown; procercus yellow; posterior parapod with 13 claws, 3 hooked claws brown and 10 simple claws yellow. Head Capsule ( Fig. 7A–C ): head capsule expanded, IC 0.74–0.75, chaetotaxy follow the figure 7A; AR 4.58– 5.19, antennomeres 1,2-4 : 452–510, 95–111 µm long; ring organ in A 1 300 µm from the base; maxillary palp with 2 segments, palpomeres 1-2 : 46–56, 37–51 µm long; palpal formula 0+2, P 1 /P 2 1.10–1.24, A 1 /P 1 9.24, A 2 /P 1 1.67; mandible 147–200 µm long, with campaniform sensillum 37.5 mm from the base, A 1 / MD 2.51–3.53; dorsomental tooth 48 mm long and far apart 55–61 mm , pseudoradula slightly granulated and with homogeneous width; ligula 93–110 mm long and 65 mm wide, with 5 teeth in concave arch, It/O 0.95; Mt/O 0.70–0.94; It/Li 0.23; muscle attachment of ligula 39 µm long and 68 mm wide; bifid paraligula 55 µm long, pectin hypopharyngis with 18 teeth. Abdomen ( Fig. 7D ): procercus 97–120 µm long and 35 µm wide, 7 anal setae 760µm long; supraanal seta simple and 500 µm long; supraanal seta lenght/ anal setae lenght 0.66; posterior parapods with 13 simple claws, with the serrated sides and 3 hooked claws with the smooth sides, tip of posterior parapods with spines.
