Ecology: —Uncommon to locally fairly common; terrestrial and saxicolous on road banks, rocky outcrops, and forest ridges, often among mosses, less commonly epiphytic, in humid forests; 2250–3500 m . Notes: —Specimens at low elevations have larger blades ( 23–31 cm long) and more pinna pairs (22–30).
