DISCUSSION
: Wing-pattern similarities suggest that
S. dimidiata
from central
Colombia
, and
S. discinota
(pl. 33) from western
Venezuela
, are sister species. Their FW and HW patterns, and most other morphological features, are the same. Means for separating
S. dimidiata
from
S. discinota
are provided in the
Scea
species
key, as well as in the discussion for
S. discinota
(below).
