( HMIM ) Remarks : Very similar to Enicospilus repentinus (Holmgren, 1860) , but with the face and temples considerably narrower and the lateral ocelli larger, touching inner margin of compound eye. Enicospilus affinis Hedwig, 1957 (p. 107) stat. rev. , synonymized with E. ocellatus by Horstmann (1981), is excluded from synonymy with E. ocellatus and reinstated as a valid species.
