Euparius
can be easily recognized by the presence of a sharp tooth on the ventral as well as the dorsal cutting edges of the mandibles; the ventral tooth usually larger and nearer to the base than the dorsal tooth. It can also be recognized by the conspicuous vestiture that consists of light brown, dark brown and white setal vestiture, basal transverse pronotal carina, truncate or slightly convex eyes that are adjacent to the antennal grooves, and by the broadly and sinuately emarginate rostral apex.
