Eopsaltria australis austina
Mathews, 1914c: 60
(Cobbora (Talbaagah R.),
New South Wales
).
Now probably
Eopsaltria australis australis
(Shaw, 1790)
. See
Schodde and Mason, 1999: 362–364
.
The description of
E. australis austina
was based on specimens in the H.L. White Collection, now in MV (Wayne Longmore, personal commun.) There is no indication that specimens in AMNH from the Mathews Collection and collected by Austin in
November 1913
at the
type
locality were ever in the H.L. White Collection.
