Diagnosis
A species of the
opinatus
subgroup. Differs from all other species in the subgroup by having the lateral process of the anterior coxal fold (
alp
) regularly curved, terminating in a sharp spine pointing slightly distad, and by having the tibial spine (
ti
) short and flattened.
Etymology
The name is a Latin noun in apposition and refers to the flattened tibial spine (
ti
).
