Remarks.
Specimens range from translucent white through to orange-brown in colour. This is the second time this subspecies has been reported, and so far records are restricted to
South Korea
(
McKenzie 1972
). McKenzie (
op. cit.)
reported and figured males from populations in caves collected during April, but all specimens recovered by us at the surface appear to be females. This suggests that this subspecies is geographically parthenogenetic, or sexual populations are restricted to subterranean habitats, or males are not present in June or October.
