Chinese species of Pediobius Walker (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) Author Cao, Huan-Xi Author Salle, John La Author Zhu, Chao-Dong text Zootaxa 2017 4240 1 1 71 journal article 36321 10.5281/zenodo.375759 724a3c39-a2cc-44ec-a04c-bca7f2b79ebc 1175-5326 375759 9A463357-EEE2-4A70-BCB2-573052DB48CC Pediobius facialis species group Diagnosis. Body squat. In female, antenna very short and F3 considerably stout ( e.g. , Fig. 12 e), but in male less so ( e.g. , 12f). Mesoscutum and scutellum finely reticulate, and more finely so in notaular depressions. Species included. Although there might be some confusion on the relationship among P. facialis , P . brachycerus and P . grunini (Nikol'skaya), we follow Bouček (1965a) and place them in the same species group. Besides, two Chinese species, P . narangae and P . tortricida are also included in this species group. However, instead of the " brachycerus -group", we call this species group as the " facialis -group" (ref. remarks under P. brachycerus ).
