Description.
Shell height to
6.8 mm
(up to
11 mm
according to
Pastorino 2016
); elongate-fusiform, moderately solid. Protoconch large, of 2.25 slightly convex whorls, the first slightly keeled. Teleoconch of up to 2.75 whorls, almost straight in outline; last whorl comprising about 70% of total shell height. Suture impressed. Surface brownish, with a paler band at the middle of the last whorl and at the suture of the spire whorls; sculptured with 7 to 10 fine spiral grooves on the spire whorls and about 40 on the last whorl. Aperture ovate; columellar callus narrow; siphonal canal short, somewhat oblique, wide.
