Diagnosis.
Large
Hyalopeplus
(total length about

). Globally yellowish orange to ochraceous with reddish or blackish stripes. Pronotal collar transversally striate. Pronotal callosities wide, punctate, devoid of longitudinal reddish zig-zag shaped stripe. Pronotal disk transversally striate on the swollen (median) part of the disk, slightly punctate laterally and posteriorly. Humeral angles pointed, obviously produced, black. Habitus in dorsal view
