Specimens deposited in ESALQ and referred to as a pest of rubber trees in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul ( Monteiro et al . 1999 ) cannot at present be satisfactorily identified. These specimens may represent a further new species, because they exhibit character states of both H. longisensibilis and H. haemorroidalis . RECORDS. Brazil .
