VII.11.31; Col. C. W. Herr”. Identification, taxonomy, and variation. Both sexes are similar to S. h. irene but are somewhat paler in the disc. Adults are rather small and spots are entirely unsilvered on the ventral hindwings. Adult wingspan ranges from 45-50 mm . Range. Sawtooth Mountains, Idaho and eastern Oregon . Life history. Nothing could be gleaned from the literature.
