Body 4.5–4.7 mmlong. Coloration: headreddish brown, pronotumandelytrareddish, withtheposteriorareaslightlylighter; abdomen blackishbrownwiththenarrowposteriormarginsofthetergitesandtheapexsomewhat paler, legsandantennaereddish. Headtransverse, 1.22 timesaswideaslong ( Figs 1–2 ); dorsalsurfaceconvex, with verydense, averagesize, granulosebutrathershallowpunctures; intersticesreducedto narrowridges; pubescenceshortandreddishyellow. Eyesrelativelysmall, indorsalview distinctlyshorterthanpostocularregion. Antennaemoderatelyslender, 1.1 mmlong, an- tennomereIIIapproximately 2.2 timesaslongaswide; antennomeresV–Xoblong ( Fig. 1 ). Comparativenotes – Thespeciesisdistinguishedfromallitsconsubgeners by the male sexual characters, especially by the ventral process of the aedeagus, whichisofdifferentshape, particularlyinlateralview. Inaddition, thenewspeciesdiffersfromallspeciesinthewesternAnatoliabyadifferent coloration (seekeytotheTurkish Eurysunius speciesbelow). Distributionandbionomics – Thenewspecieswascollectedfromthe Alacadağ, insouthwestofAntalyaprovince, ingrasslandataltitudesof 1620 and 1810 m . They were found in the nests of Tetramorium sp. , which supports pastobservationssuggestingthatthissubgenusisassociatedwiththeseants.
