The black subapical spot is usually poorly defined or absent on the forewing verso, and may occasionally be absent on the recto. This is a forest species, with a greater affinity for semideciduous forests. It ranges along West Africa from Guinea-Bissau to Ghana , Burkina Faso and Togo . The caterpillars feed on Capparaceae .
