Distribution: Argentina : Río Negro ( striata ) Province; Chile (all AFN, personal data, except Chiloé): Cautín, Chiloé, Llanquihue, Malleco, Ñuble, Osorno, and Valdivia Provinces. = Kaszabella striata Hlisnikovský, 1964c: 321 ; Newton, 1998: 84 , 168 syn. ( holotype seen). Holotype male in HNHM. Type locality: Mt. Piltriquitron, 1100 m , El Bolsón, Río Negro Province , Argentina . Note: Szymczakowski (1976: 125) recorded “ Kaszabella sp.”, stating “species near Kaszabella striata ”, also from Río Negro .
