The colouration of the specimen agrees well with Debelius (2001) , body transparent, with red and white markings on body, legs and antennal scales. Distribution. Type locality: Dzaoudzi, Mayotte (Pamanzi Island ), Comoro Islands . Also known from Kenya , La Réunion , South China Sea, Japan , Australia , New Caledonia , and Hawaii. Remarks. The specimens were found in the bait container of coral boulders. They agree with the previous descriptions and illustrations. This species was previously recorded from Mayotte by Bruce (1967) .
