Microhyla
cf.
nilphamariensis
(Howlader, Nair, Gopalan, and Merila 2015)
:
The
type
locality of this frog is Koya Golahut, Saidpur, Nilphamari,
Bangladesh
. Recently,
Khatiwada et al. (2017)
recorded it from central and eastern
Nepal
and proposed the Chitwan population to be
M. nilphamarariensis
based on molecular and call records. We believe the Parsa population to be
M. nilphamariensis
(
Fig. 7
). However, only detailed molecular study will resolve its taxonomy.
