Lectotype . QGSF969 (internal mould of dorsal shield). Paralectotype material. QGSF 980 (external glabella, hypostome and pygidium), QGSF 977 (external pygidium), AMF80200a/b (partial external/internal cephalon), AMF80201 (external pygidium), AMF80202a/b (external/internal pygidium) AMF80203a/b (external/internal pygidium), AMF80204 (internal pygidium), SMF 27569 (external pygidium), SMF 27570 (external pygidium). Locality. QGSF material: NU L1064, AMF material: NU L448 Diagnosis. See Engel & Morris (1996: 131). Remarks. Linguaphillipsia raglanensis has been synonymised with L. stanvellensis . The pygidia are identical, and the distinct bell-shaped glabella of L. stanvellensis can be seen in specimens of L. raglanensis . The shape of the glabella is similar to L. elongata , but in speciments of L. stanvellensis the glabella is wider posteriorly.
