Remarks to distribution
: Only few specimens are known from this species.
Eleusis frater
seems to be rare but has a wide distribution. The records cover a large area from
French Guiana
in the West to
Ecuador
and
Peru
in the East and from
Venezuela
in the North to Espiritu Santo,
Brazil
, in the South. Thus, the species seems to be distributed all over the lowland rain forest area from the Guianas and the entire Amazonian lowland rainforest up to the western Andean slope.
