Comments
The species included in this genus are the only Neotropical species to show extensive sexual dimor- phism in the wing and colour pattern (12: 0). Also the cornuti, consisting of spines covering the entire vesica (40: 0), is another synapomorphic character. This genus shares some plesiomorphic attributes with the Australian species, particularly the curvature of the aedeagus.
