Diagnosis
(female).
Separate eye facet anterior to the eye. Maxilla 1 palp articulation obscure. Maxilla 2 inner plate with facial setae. Coxae 3–7 with facial setae. Gnathopods 1 and 2 bases with setose posterior margins. Pereopods 5–6 bases with facial setae. Epimeron 3 posteroventral corner sinuous with bi-dentate cusp.
Note.
Hirayama synonymizes
Leucothoe incisa
Nagata, 1965
with this species, but the Nagata’s description is vague without illustrations and needs to be examined before confirmed as
Leucothoe bidens
.
