I separate here a female that may belong to a new species. It originates from the same locality as
Afrophaloria apiariensis
Desutter-Grandcolas
,
n. sp.
and is characterized by a very short ovipositor (see measurements below), a subgenital plate only slightly sinuate distally (
Fig. 4
A) and a very dark coloration (tergites ochre brown, their distal margin largely bordered with black brown, the last tergites and supra anal plate entirely dark). The only specimen at hand could not be dissected.
