It originates from the same locality as Afrophaloria apiariensis Desutter-Grandcolas , n. sp. and is characterized by a very short ovipositor (see measurements below), a subgenital plate only slightly sinuate distally ( Fig. 4 A) and a very dark coloration (tergites ochre brown, their distal margin largely bordered with black brown, the last tergites and supra anal plate entirely dark).
