Biology
: Imago February, May and September to December. This species appears to be common close to unpolluted rivers from February to September. Interestingly this species was collected by Uéno on the Kowloon peninsula on
22 April 1965
where it occurred on the gravely banks of a clear stream, twelve years later it had totally disappeared from that locality due to pollution. Frequently comes to light. A live specimen of this species was observed apparently jumping. Fully winged.
There is a single specimen perhaps corresponding to another species of this genus, somewhat larger and paler than
P. pusillus
.
