OCCURRENCE. — Ashikajima Fm (rare).
DISTRIBUTION. — This genus is known from the Precambrian to possibly Holocene.

Flattened lenticular body. The central body is biconvex and darker than the folded equatorial membrane that surrounds it. Length =
