The original material of
Stipa pavlovii
(types and
paratypes
) cited by
Kotukhov (1998a)
was not found at
LE
and
KUZ
. We also did not find any other specimens match the description of the species. We are therefore not able to designate a
lectotype
or a
neotype
for the species. Based on the description,
S. pavlovii
is very close to
S. sczerbakovii
. This group of taxa requires taxonomic revision.
