Ceriodaphnia dubia
Richard, 1894
s. lat.
The species is a new record for
Tajikistan
.
Ceriodaphnia dubia
was observed in several localities in Tajik Pamir at altitudes of
3700–4200 m
(loc. 26, 30, 31, 51–53). A cosmopolitan species group tolerating a variety of conditions, previously reported from altitudes less than
680 m
(
Korovchinsky & Kotov 2021
,
Garibian
et al.
2023
), therefore our records are the highest for this species. Some records of
Ceriodaphnia quadrangula
(O.F. Müller, 1785)
from Pamir might belong to
C. dubia
s. lat.
