Abdominal tergites yellowish, with brown markings. Tergite six lacking posterior row of enlarged setae. Oviscape elongate, narrow, dorsomedian process elongate. This species is most similar to A. mucronatus , but differs by the relatively longer, thinner oviscape. Description of specimens. Body length 2.4 mm . Frons dark brown, mean frontal width 0.48. Median furrow present. Supra-antennal setae absent. Ventral interfrontal setae closer to midline than eye margin. Ocelli normal sized. Ommatidia normal sized. Flagellomere 1 pyriform, brownish yellow, apically brown. Palpus yellow, normal sized. Scutum brown. Scutellum dark brown, anterior seta small, subequal to posterior setulae of scutum. Pleuron yellowish brown. Anepisternum bare. Wing normal sized, mean costal length 0.40. Halter yellow. Abdominal tergites mostly yellow, but light brown posterolaterally, normal sized.
