Etymology.
The specific name is from Latin
squamatus
(scaly), in reference to the distal shape of male compound teminal apophysis; adjective.
Diagnosis.
Male can be distinguished from
I. maculata
(Peng & Kim, 1997)
by the embolus that without apophysis (

; bifurcated distally in
I. maculata
(Peng & Kim, 1997)
,

); from other species by the scaly compound teminal apophysis, further distinguished by the details of patellar apophysis (

). Female can be distinguished by the unique shape of epigyne which is relatively large, wider and longer, and sclerotized (

): Total length 1.7, PL 1.0, PW 0.75, OL 0.8, OW 0.6. Eye sizes: AME 0.25, ALE 0.15, PME 0.05, PLE 0.15, AER 0.8, PER 0.7, EFL 0.6. Legs: I 1.65 (0.5, 0.3, 0.35, 0.3, 0.2), II 1.45 (0.45, 0.25, 0.3, 0.25, 0.2), III 1.4 (0.4, 0.2, 0.3, 0.3, 0.2), IV 2.0 (0.65, 0.25, 0.5, 0.35, 0.25); formula: 4123.
Dorsal prosoma light brown, with dark sides, covered with brown and white setae. Clypeus height 0.05, Clypeus gray brown, covered with brown setae. Fovea, cervicle and radial grooves unclear. Chelicerae small and yellow, with one promarginal teeth, retromargin with five teeth. Endites, labium and sternum yellow. Leg I with black longitudinal stripes. Metatarsus I with three pairs of ventral spines. Opisthosoma cylindrical, grayish black, with three pairs of pale yellow spots, following one yellow latitudinal stripe; anterior and posterior margins covered with long brown setae; ventral opisthosoma light brown. ): Patella with several irregular apophyses. Compound teminal apophysis broad and bent, scaly distally, with membranaceous margin and a concave region in retrolateral view, apex obscured by tegulum. Embolus long, extengding under the compound teminal apophysis, and curved distally. Seminal duct visible in prolateral view.

Opisthosoma oval, yellowish brown, with irregular stripes. Other characters similar to those of male. Epigyne (
