Original Karawajew labels: 1 w, “Ba Me Thuot / Annam . 30.VI. / 30 K. Davydov ”, “5720. Coll. Karavaievi ”, “ Diacamma / rugosum var. / ovalis Karav. / typus”, Holotypus / Diacamma rugosum / v. ovalis Karaw. ”, “Dlussky / restaur.”, “not a type! / 1994 / W. L. Brown . Material: HOLOTYPE , w ( CASENT0916813 ) (Box 2). Notes . In the early 1990s, we sent a sample of Diacamma type material to Prof. W. L. Brown ( USA ) for study, but he was unable to complete a revision of the genus before his death. However, there is an additional Brown label on the pin with this subspecies “not a type! / 1994 / W. L. Brown”. Moreover, the number of the holotype specimen in the original description is 5920, but 5720 in the collection. The situation may be similar to that involving D. rugosum gibbosum (above).
